CruizinUSA brought four people together with a vision and passion for sharing the excitement of back road cruising with the world. This two-year journey was a discovery on how best to allow members the ability to create back road maps and points of interest (POI's) along the way, and then share them on the site. We could write a book about our journey, a modern day Wizard of Oz story, including a real tornado at one of our events along with what seemed like every ball of flame that could be thrown our way. Can you say Economy??
It's ironic that the idea for CruizinUSA was born on a back road to a Packer game in the NFL's smallest market, Green Bay, WI, as CruizinUSA is all about small town America, and how we can help support and save it. The road is really the thread running through our lives that connects us not only to destinations, but also to each other. CruizinUSA is allows us to connect to others with photos, routes, places along the way, travel logs, videos and other information, all the result of your passion for cruizin the back roads.
The four people, Doug & Sue Kiry and Gary & Victoria Jasiek never lost faith or sight of their dream. Each brought a unique talent and personality to CruizinUSA, along with the determination to live their dream. As Walt Disney said, "if you can dream, you can do it".
